Mapping Ohio`s 57,956 coronavirus cases; latest trends include a record high for rolling average of new cases

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio`s 805 newly reported coronavirus cases on Monday raised the rolling seven-day average to a record level, as the totals to date increased to 57,956 cases, 8,249 hospitalizations and 2,917 deaths, Ohio Department of Health data showed. One-in- 202 Ohioans are now known to have contracted the virus this year. The case reporting has followed a trend upward since June 18, with the daily totals ranging from 743 to 1,301 a day over the last week, after dipping to as low as 300 on June 14.
